દહેરાદૂનમાં ડેન્ગ્યુના કેસ સતત આવી રહ્યા છે. શુક્રવારે પણ ત્રણ દર્દીઓનો ELISA રિપોર્ટ પોઝિટિવ આવ્યો હતો. આમાં હરિદ્વારના એક દર્દી અને સહારનપુરના એક દર્દીનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. હોસ્પિટલમાં હાલમાં ૧૨ ડેન્ગ્યુના દર્દીઓ સારવાર હેઠળ છે. આમાંથી, મહંત ઈન્દિરેશ હોસ્પિટલમાં સૌથી વધુ નવ દર્દીઓ દાખલ છે.
સીએમઓ ડૉ. મનોજ શર્માએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે દેહરાદૂનનાં ત્રણ હોસ્પિટલોમાં ચાર દર્દીઓ દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. આમાંથી ત્રણના ELISA ટેસ્ટ અને એકના રેપિડ ટેસ્ટમાં ડેન્ગ્યુની પુષ્ટિ થઈ છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં કુલ 21 દર્દીઓ ડેન્ગ્યુથી પીડિત મળી આવ્યા છે, જેમાંથી 13 દહેરાદૂનના છે અને આઠ અન્ય જિલ્લાઓ અને પડોશી રાજ્યોના છે. નવ લોકો ડેન્ગ્યુમાંથી સાજા થયા છે.
અત્યાર સુધીમાં 768 લોકોના ડેન્ગ્યુના પરીક્ષણ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. ડેન્ગ્યુથી પીડિત બે દર્દીઓના મોત પણ થયા છે. જોકે તેઓ અન્ય કોઈ બીમારીથી પણ પીડિત હતા અને તેમનો ELISA રિપોર્ટ ડેન્ગ્યુ પોઝિટિવ હતો, તેમ છતાં આરોગ્ય વિભાગ દ્વારા તેમના મૃત્યુ ડેન્ગ્યુને કારણે નોંધવામાં આવ્યા નથી. આ માટે આરોગ્ય વિભાગ દ્વારા ડેથ ઓડિટ કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે.
શાળાઓ માટે સલાહકાર જારી કરવામાં આવી ન હતી
ડેન્ગ્યુ અંગે શાળાઓ માટે કોઈ અલગ સલાહકાર જારી કરવામાં આવી નથી. હાલમાં, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અડધી બાંયના કપડાં પહેરીને શાળાઓમાં આવી રહ્યા છે. સામાન્ય રીતે, ડેન્ગ્યુની સિઝન દરમિયાન, શાળાએ સંપૂર્ણ બાંયના ડ્રેસ પહેરીને આવવા માટે માર્ગદર્શિકા જારી કરવામાં આવતી હતી, પરંતુ હજુ સુધી કોઈ પહેલ કરવામાં આવી નથી.

Youll note the feeding apparatus consisting of a sharp, orange-colored fascicle, which while not feeding, is covered in a soft, pliant sheath called the “labellum, which retracts as the sharp stylets contained within pierce the host’s skin surface, as the insect obtains its blood meal. The orange color of the fascicle is due to the red color of the blood as it migrates up the thin, sharp translucent tube. The fascicle is composed of a pair of needle-sharp “stylets”. The larger of the two stylets, known as the “labrum”, when viewed in cross-section takes on the shape of an inverted “V”, and acts as a gutter, which directs the ingested host blood towards the insect’s mouth. As the primary vector responsible for the transmission of the Flavivirus Dengue (DF), and Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), the day-biting Aedes aegypti mosquito prefers to feed on its human hosts. Ae. aegypti also plays a major role as a vector for another Flavivirus, “Yellow fever”. Frequently found in its tropical environs, the white banded markings on the tarsal segments of its jointed legs, though distinguishing it as Ae. aegypti, are similar to some other mosquito species. Also note the lyre-shaped, silvery-white markings on its thoracic region as well, which is also a determining morphologic identifying characteristic.This females abdomen had become distended due to the blood meal she was ingesting, imparting the red coloration to her translucent abdominal exoskeleton.
